About the Club

Roughneck Wrestling Club Detroit is part of the Roughneck Wrestling expansion authorized in 2013 by founder Brad Zeigler of Hanover, Pennsylvania.

The Detroit club is run by Mike Conflitti, a former University of Findlay wrestler, who leads the main club while also having branches in West Branch, Michigan and Caceres, Spain.

Over the years, the club has helped produce many wrestlers who have gone on to compete at the college level. The focus of the club is not just on competition, but on building complete wrestlers through consistent training, strong culture, and year-round commitment to development.

Roughneck Wrestling Club Detroit operates throughout the year and offers training opportunities in both folkstyle and freestyle. Athletes are given the chance to sharpen technique, improve positionally, and continue progressing no matter the season.

The club also brings in world-class clinicians who provide expert-level technique, insight, and advice that athletes can apply directly in training and competition.

In addition to physical skill development, the club emphasizes mental growth within the sport — helping wrestlers build confidence, discipline, composure, focus, and the mindset needed to compete at a high level.
